Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Metricized (“Metricized,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit metricized.com, submit a project inquiry, or download a reporting template.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the Contact form, we collect the information you submit. This may include your name, work email address, company or website, the type of help requested, and the details you provide about your reporting or analytics needs.

Please do not submit passwords, credentials, private customer data, health information, financial account information, or other sensitive personal data through the public Contact form.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site, Metricized and its service providers may automatically receive technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, and request timestamps.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are used to measure site traffic and understand how pages and downloads are used. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers, including the _ga cookie, and may collect session, browser, device, and approximate-location information. Metricized does not intentionally send names, email addresses, or Contact-form contents to Google Analytics.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals when the Contact form is used so that automated or abusive submissions can be detected. Web hosting and security systems also create ordinary server logs.

Template downloads

Reporting templates are offered as direct downloads or through a linked third-party reporting platform. Metricized does not require an email address for a template download. A direct file request may still appear in server or security logs with technical details such as the IP address, timestamp, browser information, requested file, and referring domain.

How we use information

  • Respond to, evaluate, and follow up on project inquiries.
  • Provide requested information and discuss potential consulting work.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and its forms.
  • Measure traffic, content performance, and template usage.
  • Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.

Submitting a project inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing email. Metricized does not sell personal information and does not use personal information collected through this site for targeted advertising.

Service providers and disclosures

Metricized uses service providers that process information for the functions described above. These currently include:

  • Formspree, which receives, filters, stores, and delivers Contact-form submissions.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps distinguish legitimate form submissions from automated abuse.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which support site measurement and analytics.
  • Website hosting, WordPress, email, and security providers, which support site delivery, communications, backups, and operational security.

These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy commitments. You can review the Formspree Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy, and Google Privacy Policy.

Metricized may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect the rights, safety, or security of Metricized, site visitors, or others; investigate misuse; or complete a business transfer such as a sale or reorganization. Information may be shared with professional advisers when needed for legal, accounting, insurance, or security support.

Cookies and analytics choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect some site features. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Browser privacy tools, content blockers, and Global Privacy Control settings may provide additional controls, depending on the browser and applicable law.

Retention

Metricized retains project inquiries and related communications for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate or provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Analytics, form, security, and server-log retention also depends on the settings and retention practices of the service providers involved. Information that is no longer reasonably needed is deleted or deidentified when practicable.

Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to ask whether Metricized processes your personal information, request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy, or object to certain processing. Metricized does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

To make a privacy request, email support@metricized.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line or use the Contact page. Metricized may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate responsive records. If a request is denied, you may appeal through the same channel and identify the message as a “Privacy appeal.”

Some analytics or security records may not be reasonably linkable to an identified visitor. Metricized will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

Security

Metricized uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

This site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Metricized does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact Metricized so the information can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.

Third-party sites and international processing

The site links to third-party services, including reporting platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Metricized and its providers operate in the United States and may process information in the United States or other countries where a provider operates.

Changes to this policy

Metricized may update this Privacy Policy as the site, services, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are published.
